Engineered woven geotextile geotubes for coastal and shoreline protection and feature a reinforced heavy duty colored non-woven fabric for additional protection and aesthetics.
Geotube is a tubular bag made of high-strength geotextile, High-strength polypropylene (PP) or polyester (PET) geotextile, with good tensile, tear and UV resistance.
Geotubes are large containment systems in tubular forms made from high strength PP/PET Woven Geo-textile. Geo-textile tubes are filled by the hydraulic pumping of local soil into the prefabricated Geo-textile tube. This leads to a flexible, monolithic, continuous structure that is highly resistant to water currents. Sand is widely used as the soil in-fill material because of its low comprehensibility but other hydraulic pumped soil types can also be used.
Geotube geobag is widely used in water conservancy, environmental protection, marine engineering and other fields.GeoTubes is a bag made of High-Performance Polypropylene Mesh monofilament woven into bag fabric. GeoTubes has High Strength, Low Elongation, High Permeability, High UV resistance,Acid and Alkali Resistance, Anti-Microbial Erosion Properties, etc.
Geotubes are made up of Geo-textiles that has fine pores so that water can easily exit and Soil will remain infill in Geotube during the hydraulic filling stage. The Geo-textile has high tensile strength to enable it to resist the tensile stresses occurring during hydraulic filling and main.
Geotube Features
1. Material
High-strength geotextile: usually made of high-strength synthetic fibers such as polypropylene (PP) or polyester (PET), with good tensile, tear and UV resistance.
2. Geotube geotextile tube of Structure
Tubular design: cylindrical, both ends can be closed, and the length and diameter are customized according to project requirements.
Multi-layer structure: Some geotextile tube bags adopt multi-layer design to enhance their strength and filtration performance.
3. Geotube of Function
Filtration and drainage: allows water to pass through while intercepting solid particles, often used for sludge dewatering.
Protection and reinforcement: used for protection and reinforcement of projects such as dams and coastlines.
Environmental protection and ecological restoration: used for pollution control and ecological restoration, such as river dredging, wetland restoration, etc.

Geotubes for seawalls and coastal protection create a synthetic barrier for your shoreline and beach use to help control erosion.
These barriers, often referred to as breakwater geotubes, are the first line of defense against the action of waves and tides.
When waves hit beaches and shorelines, they impact seawalls, limiting exposure to beaches and dunes.
Geotube seawalls provide coastal defense for canals, bays and other areas, minimizing the erosive effects of waves and helping protect your sand/shoreline.
Our geotubes for coastal protection are available in a variety of lengths and circumferences to suit your erosion control application.
