Geosynthetic clay liner (GCL), bentonite Geosynthetic clay liner (GCL) is a new type of geosynthetics. It is made of graded natural sodium bentonite particles and corresponding admixtures. After acupuncture process and equipment, the bentonite particles are fixed between the non-woven geotextile and the plastic woven geotextile to make a felt-like waterproof membrane. Bentonite geosynthetic clay liner not only has all the characteristics of geotechnical materials, but also has excellent waterproof (permeable) performance.

advantage:

1. Compactness;

2. Waterproof performance;

3. Short construction period;

4. Bentonite is an inorganic material.

Geosynthetic clay liner is a kind of geosynthetic material specially used for anti-seepage of artificial lakes, water features, landfills, underground garages, roof gardens, pools, oil depots and chemical storage yards. It is made of high-expansion sodium-based bentonite filled between special composite woven geotextiles and non-woven geotextiles. The bentonite anti-seepage mat made by needle punching method can form many fine fiber voids. Bentonite particles cannot flow in one direction, and stay in the pad when they meet water. Form a uniform, high-density colloidal waterproof layer to effectively prevent water leakage.
