Geotextile tubes are large tubular bags made of porous geotextiles and are used in a variety of applications.

Geotube dredging principle: Geotube is a container filled with a slurry mixture of sand and water hydraulically. Hydraulics help transport the sand along the inside of the tubes, while the water will dissipate through the permeable engineered fabric, and the sand will then settle by gravity inside the container.
